As we say goodbye to 2020, Should Have Listened To My Mother would like to thank all of our guests that were generous enough to tell their story of their relationship with their mother. How does a child learn to navigate waters on their own without a maternal figure to guide them? And a child surrounded by love and support, are they unstoppable? Please join us in 2021 for season II of Should Have Listened To My Mother. There is so much to learn from each of our experiences.
My guests were brave enough to open up and share their emotional stories and experiences regarding their mother. The mother/daughter - mother/son relationship is sometimes one of the most complicated relationships you'll ever have to navigate.
I admire my guests and their willingness to trust me and truly express themselves, whether it brought tears or laughter.
Hopefully by sharing these stories, we can help one another as fellow mothers, daughters and role models.
One of my role models is the renowned author and poet Maya Angelou. The more I read her work, the more clarity, calm and wisdom I garner.
At the end of this tumultuous year, I'd like to express my deepest appreciation, admiration and respect for all First Responders and Frontline Workers. Without you and your dedication, we would be lost.
Best wishes to all for the New Year and Thank you for listening to Should Have Listened To My Mother.
