Not “just” a musician, a true Renaissance Man, French Jazz Guitarist Stephane Wrembel embraces everything life has to offer and infuses it into his music and his life experiences. Having studied classical piano from the age of four, in his teens, Stephane picked up the guitar and fell in love with Django Reinhardt's style of playing improvisational 'Gypsy jazz' guitar and the rest is history.
“My parents are supportive of me and I’ve always considered the presence of my parents a great, great, great fortune”. Stephane feels especially fortunate having had his parents support throughout his budding career.
Corinne, Stephane's mother, was a first grade teacher in France and she was meticulous and dedicated to her young students. She fully supports her son's career choice and even helps out with publicity and organizing before any performances. Corinne is her son's biggest fan.
Django Reinhardt's unique guitar style caught Stephane's heart as a teen and inspired many years of studying with 'gypsy jazz' guitar master Serge Krief and traveling the world.
