Should Have Listened to My Mother Podcast

Grounded in the State of Change With Guest Singer Cormac Thompson

Episode Summary

My guest, Cormac Thompson, is a British, at the time of this interview, fourteen year old former Treble (Soprano) singer. He's been singing since he was eight years young. He expresses his gratitude for his mother, Alison, for the significant things she's taught him including good manners, humility, kindness, hard work, etc. But Cormac is genuinely grateful to both his mom and dad because he knows how hard it is to launch a singing career. Cormac's new album, "A Borrowed Gift" is out now and features Cormac as a young male treble singer as well as works recorded more recently after his voice made the initial big change.

Episode Notes

Cormac is quite the accomplished teenage singer known all over the world.

His new release includes new and old songs and is titled "A Borrowed Gift."

During our conversation, Cormac shares how his mom would refer to herself as the "worry monster" so he could tell her all his troubles and then they'd go away. Mom would take over all his troubles like a good mom can.
